DNV offers drone assisted close-up surveys to assess the structure and coating inside cargo and ballast tanks, cargo holds, Jackup legs, or similar. This will significantly reduce survey time, staging costs, eliminate need for rafting, and avoid damage to the tank coating while at the same time improving safety for the surveyors, ship’s crew and other personnel.
Established hub for Drone surveys in Poland.
The Gdynia based drone team can be deployed on short notice anywhere in the world. The technology used is a specially designed high definition camera-equipped drone to remotely assess structural components and verify the condition. By using the video stream, transmitted by the drone to a tablet, the surveyor can now remotely review the condition of a structure as effectively.
