Zain, a leading mobile telecoms operator in the Middle East and Africa, has signed a three-year agreement with DNV to prepare its 22 operations for ISO certification.

DNV will ensure that the processes and procedures at the 22 Zain operations in the Middle East and Africa are certifiable across all critical business areas and functions. The four certifications that all Zain operators will seek to achieve are:
- ISO 9001 Quality with TL9000 Telecommunications Leadership
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
- BS 25999 Business Continuity Management
